Convergence - "Spiritual, but not Religious"Opportunities are showing up. And they are intriguing me…

I’ve been praying a lot. Noticing which pieces of these opportunities inspire me, and which ones seem overwhelming. And as I’ve been sifting through this inner feedback, an idea emerged.

I am giddy excited about it.

The name came like a lightening bolt. “CONVERGENCE.” This is what I’ve been seeking. How can I be a conduit for a convergence in consciousness by doing the things I love the most?

This Sunday, I’m testing the concept:
At 9 am CST on Sunday morning, I’ll be in Trinity Park, in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District, to share with you a piece of my own spiritual practice. You can join me in person, or tune in live as I broadcast through the internet and on phone lines.

For a map of the park showing our Sunday location, click here.

Here, surrounded by oak trees, friendly squirrels, fountains and fauna, I’ll be gathering with anyone who feels called to join me to discuss some of the spiritual principles that build the foundation for my What If Up teachings. The message is titled, “Foundations in Faith” and I’ll be joined by my good friend Susan Arbuckle who will be providing special music for us from her favorite sacred place in Austin, Texas, all via teleconference line.

A true convergence of science and spirituality. Technology in the midst of God’s most beautiful locations. A convergence of ideas and of people. Non-denominational. No dogma. No doctrine. Just a spiritual discussion to serve as the springboard for discussion among people from diverse religious backgrounds.

Bring your dog. Bring a picnic. Bring your kids. Bring your friends. Bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket. And most of all, bring your CELL PHONE. I know it sounds kinda crazy, but what if this works?

What if people all over the world can “converge” in consciousness from their own personal sanctuaries, surrounded by their own spiritual families, and uniting in the intention to be a blessing to everyone that walks upon the earth?

What if this is just the beginning???

You’re invited to join us for our big experiment:
Sunday, July 25, 2010
9:00-9:30 am Spiritual message, music, & meditation broadcast live from Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Texas
9:30-10:00 am Blessings and silent walking meditation through the park (or wherever YOU may be!)

You can submit blessing requests in advance, as well as find call-in info and our live audio stream at http://AttendThisEvent.com/?eventid=13948104

This is a pilot program. The goal is to reach as many people as possible, with maximum efficiency and minimal overhead. There is no building to fund, no board of trustees to answer to, a tiny crew behind the scenes, and unlimited opportunity for expansion.

Could it be I’ve discovered my perfect ministry? Join me on Sunday and let’s see what happens!
